Ashford in the Water sits between the lively market town of Bakewell (less than 2 miles away) and the historic spa town of Buxton, with Chatsworth Country House and parklands only four miles away. Monsal Dale and the Wye Valley is literally up the road, with other easy-commuting attractions including the Caves of Castleton, the cable cars of Matlock, the thrills of Alton Towers, the market town of Chesterfield and not forgetting Meadowhall, one of the largest shopping centres in the country.
